Christmas Eve Fun

Feeding the ducks was our adventure for the morning. They were hungry too! They were eating out of our hands and we couldn't feed them fast enough. Liam had a real struggle with giving the bread to the ducks instead of eating it himself. Which is a problem because the bread has soy in it and it gives him a terrible diaper rash and some not so fun diapers for a few days. There is a really sweet story about the picture of Emma and the one duck in the 4th picture. It is a REALLY ugly duck. It's feathers are a mess and it never has other ducks around. He/she is a real loner. Probably ostracized from the group for it's appearance. It is that ugly. Anyway, Emma had such compassion for the poor duck that she walked away from all of us to go over and make sure that it got some food too. She has such a sweet heart :) Her teacher at school has also told me that she is one of those kids that gets along with everyone in her class. No one picks on Emma and Emma does not pick on anyone. It makes a momma proud!
