It's Been A While

It has been quite a while! I have no idea how that much time has slipped away. We have been on the hunt for a house almost daily for the past 3 weeks. (We have 2 bids in right now, but still haven't heard back on either one. My agent said that foreclosures can take a while.) All the while trying to pack has been very time consuming. I will let you all know when we hear something back, but we are hopeful that we will have a contract on a house by the end of the week. We have also had house guests for two weekends of that. My parents came up and Will's parents came up. I am very far behind on the pictures so I will post them a little at a time. These are from when my parents came in and we took the kids to a pumpkin patch at a local church.

Happy Ending :-)

It all started on Wednesday night of last week. The entire family had been suffering with allergies and Page was just getting back to normal from returning home. Then it hit, a stomach bug that sent our entire house into chaos. First Page, then me and Liam, followed by Will and Emma. We were all hit hard. I will spare you the gruesome details, but it was bad. Really bad! On Friday the showings started up again. We had 4 showing that weekend. I had to clean and re-clean the bathrooms, keep the house in order and all the while everyone, including myself was sick. It was enough to send me over the edge. I cried and begged the Lord to sell our house. I had come to the conclusion that I just couldn't do it anymore. It was so stressful and I had reached my limit. Then it happened. We had an offer. We accepted the offer even though it was MUCH less than we were hoping for. Monday morning, our agent called to say that the woman has decided to move to Houston instead. I was bummed, but I knew that the Lord had different plans for us and I was completely at peace. While I was still on the phone with Sara an elderly man drives up to my house. (Let's just call him an angel for all intents and purposes!) He little dog hops out of the car and then he joins him. They walk around the house, waving at Page at every window. (Yes, she was following him all the way around.) He called our agent and came over that night. Then he came over again last night. He left with a full price, cash offer on the table. All he asks for are the flowers in the bathroom and for the 2 fence pickets that are broken to be repaired. God is good! It was a very happy ending to a really horrible week. We are all feeling better, by the way. Just some sinus yuck that is still holding on.

Not So Scary Halloween Party

Here are the last of the Disney photos. We just got back from printing all 500 of them! Page has show and tell at school tomorrow so I promised her that I would do her scrapbook so that she could show all of her friends the pictures. I have a feeling it is going to be a long night!
