We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with the kids. Unfortunately my knee went out that morning so I was not able to do much that day. It was actually a blessing. I was able to enjoy my family and not be busy doing a ton of things to get ready for my family's arrival the next night. It was quiet and wonderful. We talked about Jesus' birth and about why we give and get gifts. Then we proceeded to open a ton of presents. Liam loved his tee ball set. he even hugged the box. His favorite thing was trying to swipe the girls' makeup and trowing the little people across the room. It is hard not to feel bad when your child throws Mary at the fireplace or tries to hit the door with a little lamb. The kids stayed up late playing with their new toys and then went to bed without too much of a fight.

Besides your knee, it sounds like a wonderful Christmas. Relaxing is the way to go!
